Forecast Discussion: Temperatures have been pleasant outside with highs only in the mid 70s across most of the area. We don’t expect any more bone-chilling temperatures for awhile as the area of high pressure shifts eastwast which will allow southeasterly flow from the Gulf to return. This will increase our temperatures, dew points, and help develop more cloud cover, but no rain is expected.

Tomorrow: Mostly sunny. High 54. Winds NE at 5 mph.

Tomorrow Night: Partly cloudy. Low 32. Winds E at 5 mph.

Cooler and drier air is expected to move back into the area leading to a warm up as we enter the weekend. Rain chances are expected to return back into the forecast for the Brazos Valley around Monday.

Discussion: A low pressure system in the Texas panhandle will begin to make its way towards the Brazos Valley today. We could see a chance of thunderstorms this afternoon and tonight as the front makes its way through the area. Temperatures today will reach the mid 70s as we stay ahead of the front, with lows tonight in the low 40s. Once the front has passed through the area, expect high temperatures for the next couple of days to reach into the 50s.

Discussion- The High that has been keeping us cold and dry will begin its eastward move today allowing southerly flow to return. A surface low in the panhandle will be drawing moisture in, allowing temperatures here in the Brazos Valley to reach the upper 70’s tomorrow. A cold front approaching the area will sweep through Wednesday night bringing with it the chance for some thunderstorm activity. Thursday through Friday, a high will remain in the area as another cold front approaches by Saturday.

Discussion – We’re seeing a cool and dry start to December, though we can expect a chance of rain later in the week.  Windy conditions are also expected, with wind gusts reaching up to 20 mph on Wednesday.   Temperatures will warm up slightly this week, then cool down again for the weekend with the passage of another cold front.

Discussion: A cold front could make its way into Texas as early as tomorrow afternoon. We will see our high temperatures in the mid 70s until the front passes through our area sometime tomorrow. We could also see some pop up thunderstorms as the front makes its way through the Brazos Valley over the next couple of days. Expect high temperatures in the 60s and overnight lows to drop into the 40s once the cold front has made its way through the area.

Discussion- A cool day in store with a high temperature just reaching 70 degrees. The clouds will increase overnight and into tomorrow as southerly flow returns. With the combination of southerly flow and a strong cold front, rain chances wiill increase for your Thanksgiving, and into the weekend. However, by early next week, high pressure makes it into the area bringing unseasonably cool temperatures and clear skies.

Discussion – Look for a mild week with a slight chance of rain on Thanksgiving.  A cold front will push through the area, bringing with it a slight chance of rain but nothing too heavy.  Highs will vary around the low 70s/high 60s.  Expect a cool end of the week in time for Turkey day and the big game in Austin!  We’ll see even cooler temperatures to kick off the holiday shopping season this wekeend.

Cold temperatures are expected again tonight in the wake of the cold front that moved through yesterday.  However, as the surface high moves off to the east, cloud cover will return to the area starting late tonight and continuing through Saturday.  Warmer temperatures and rain chances enter the forecast starting early Sunday.  Another weak cold front should move through Brazos Valley on Monday.

Discussion: A cold front is on its way and expected to bring colder temperatures to the area. Friday morning is expected to be the coldest yet. Cloud cover will increase through the weekend.
